Once you've activated the service, you can start to Remote Record your favourite shows.


There are three ways to Remote Record:

1. Using Sky Mobile or Sky+ for iPhone
2. Online at sky.com/tvlistings
3. By sending an SMS

1. Remote Record using Sky+ for iPhone or Sky Mobile

Sky+ for iPhone

1. Download the Sky+ app using your iPhone or from the iTunes App Store
2. Sign in to the app using your Sky iD, and you'll have instant access to the 7-day Sky TV channel guide
3. Find the show you want to Remote Record, then press Record
4. Your request will be sent to your Sky+ or Sky+HD box

Sky Mobile

1. If you don't already have Sky Mobile, install the application now
2. On the Sky Mobile homepage, select Sky TV Guide
3. Find the channel you want by scrolling through the categories eg. Sport, or by inputting the channel number on your keypad
4. Highlight the programme you want to record from the list and select Record
5. You'll receive a message to let you know your request has been sent to your Sky+ or Sky+HD box

1. Go to sky.com/tvlistings
2. Find the programme you want to record by browsing or by using the search functions
3. Click on the programme title and then select Remote Record
4. You'll receive a message to let you know your request has been sent to your Sky+ or Sky+HD box

A maximum of 10 requests can be sent via the TV Listings each day.

3. Remote Record by sending an SMS

1. Compose an SMS (text message) in the following format, separating each section with a full stop:

Programme title. Channel (name or number). Date DD/MM. Time HH:HH
e.g. Lost. Sky1. 18/02. 22:00

2. If you don't know the time of the programme or the Channel, just text the programme title e.g. Lost
3. Send this SMS to 61759 (61SKY) if you are a UK customer, or 53759 (53SKY) if you are an ROI customer
4. You'll receive a message to let you know your request has been sent to your Sky+ or Sky+HD box. Each confirmation using this method costs 25p/€0.50.

Sky+ subscription required. You must obtain the consent of the Sky+ subscriber before activation. Recording requests must be made at least 30 minutes before start of programme.
