If you live in an apartment or block of flats it is easy to get Sky.
Sky’s
Shared Dish service means there is no need for an individual mini-dish for each flat - a single dish can serve the whole building.
The Shared Dish and your standard Sky box are free - to get your building enabled and have Sky TV installed, you just pay one set-up fee.
If you live in a block of more than five flats you can now request a call from a Sky specialist during the ordering process.
You need a minimum of 4 households in your building to sign up to Sky TV, but our specialist team will sign up the others in your building so you do not have to.
This means you cannot currently order online - but you can find out more about our service on the
Sky in Flats page.
Don't forget, you can choose a Sky+ box if you want to record, pause and even rewind live TV.
To order this service, obtain permission from your landlord or the building owner and give Sky a call - you will find the number for our Sales Team
here.
Please note that the installation of a minidish of more than 9.1 metres above the ground requires additional work which may mean that certain installation offers are not available.
If you are ordering Sky for a property in a block of six or more flats, you can choose to call a Sky specialist or book a date/time slot (in hourly segments) for the Sky specialist to call you.
If you are going to speak to the Sky specialist, details of your basket (items selected during the ordering process, including subscriptions and hardware) will be emailed to you and the Sky specialist so they can reference these during the call.
During the call, the Sky specialist will determine whether Sky can be installed in your property. They will ask which floor of the block the property is on, and whether there is permission to install a dish.
