  7. Press sky to return to normal viewing.
  8. Return to the channel on which you first noticed the problem to ensure the problem is resolved.

TV Fault Procedure

This will check that both terrestrial and Sky channels are affected.

  2. If the problem persists, there could be a fault with your TV set, and you may need to contact the manufacturer or a repair shop.

TV Tuning Procedure

This process should only be attempted if you are familiar with tuning your TV set and/or video recorder, as it's possible to leave your TV out of tune and unable to pick up programmes if you are unsuccessful.

  1. If you have Sky multiroom, check the RF Output of another Sky box to find the RF number.
  2. Re-tune your TV according the manufacturer's instructions.

SCART/RF Connection Check Procedure

  1. Switch your Sky HD box to standby.
  2. Check that the TV SCART, Video SCART and RF connections at the back of your TV set, video recorder and Sky HD box are secure.
  3. Press tv followed by sky on your Sky remote control.
  4. If your TV set has more than one SCART connection, please try putting the SCART lead into the other socket and trying this procedure again.
  5. If your TV set is set to RGB there may be a slight difference in picture quality or colour balance compared to default picture settings, such as PAL.
