Change Your Payment Method through Sky Active

You can pay your Sky bill in various ways, but for peace of mind we recommend setting up a regular credit card or Direct Debit payment. This helps you avoid missing a due payment, and paying by Direct Debit means you will not incur a monthly invoice fee, saving you money every month.

You can also use the Change Payment Method function to update your details, if you change your bank account or get a new credit card, for example.

Set up or change a regular payment method

1. Press interactive on your Sky remote control.
2. Highlight Sky Active and press select.
3. Highlight Help Centre using the left/right arrows and press select.
4. Highlight Manage My Account using the up/down arrows and press select.
5. When the welcome message appears, press select to continue
6. Enter your viewing card PIN and press select to continue or back up to cancel.
7. Highlight Change Payment Details using the up/down arrows and press select.
8. Your current payment details will be displayed, and you can choose Direct Debit or credit card payments.
9. If you choose Direct Debit, press i (the information button) to see the Direct Debit guarantee.
10. When you have entered your new payment details, press the blue button to continue.
11. Press the blue button again to confirm your changes.
12. You will see a screen confirming that you are the only person required to authorise a new Direct Debit mandate and that you are the Sky account holder.
13. Press select to complete the process.
