Signed language descriptions

We want all our customers to enjoy the fantastic programming that Sky has to offer, and to help our deaf and hard of hearing customers make the most of Sky we have Sign Language on the following Sky channels:

    Sky Movies
    Sky News (Sunday)
    Sky One
    Sky Two
    Sky Three
    Sky Sports News (Saturday)
    Sky Travel (various times)

(More channels will follow soon)

Our team of experts record, or perform live, an interpretation of the dialogue of a programme using British Sign language (hand movements and facial mannerisms) and Sky's Programme Services Department provides over 400 hours of sign language a year. To see if a programme has sign language, see the programme descriptions on your TV screen (press TV Guide on your Sky remote control to access programme listings) - you'll see the letters SL in the programme synopsis.

Sign Language interpreters will appear on your screen automatically, it is not possible to activate or remove the interpreter from the screen on programmes that carry sign language.

To see what signed programmes are showing over the next week, see our TV Guide.
