1. Make sure your new Sky Songs are saved in iTunes (iTunes converts MP3 files into its own format automatically so you iPod can play it).
2. Connect your iPod to your computer with a USB cable and iTunes should start automatically updating your iPod with new music.
3. If iTunes is not set to automatically update your iPod, you can transfer files manually by dragging the file from your iTunes library and dropping it on the iPod icon.
1. Once you have downloaded your Sky Songs song into Windows Media Player, connect your portable player to your PC via the USB cable that came with it.
2. You should get a message asking if you want to go ahead and sync, in which case select Yes. You may have the option to move music files manually or automatically (if you choose the automatic option make sure your device has enough memory free to take all your new songs).
Most portable music players and mobile phones come with their own software (normally on a disc) to transfer music with so simply connect your device to your computer with a USB cable, insert the disc, and follow the relevant instructions. If you have a PC using Windows you might be able to transfer music like a normal file without installing any new software. If you think you can do this on your computer:
1. Connect your portable music device to your computer with the USB cable supplied with it.
2. Find the My Computer folder on your PC and the device should show up as a symbol with the name unknown device or similar. Activate this symbol (double-click or right-click and select Open. Open the folder for storing music, if you're not sure what this folder will be called, refer to the manufacturer's handbook for your device).
3. Find the Sky Songs you want to move (by default Sky Songs will download music files into the 'My Music' folder inside 'My Documents') and then drag them in to the open device folder.
Mobile phones often need to convert MP3 files to a new format before they can be played. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions to find out how to do this.
