When you order Sky TV, you'll be asked to choose a date for our professional technicians to come and install it. On your chosen installation day, the Sky engineer will discuss where to put a discreet black minidish (just 60cm across) on the outside of your home, connect your equipment and show you how to use Sky TV.
If you take Multiroom we'll also install equipment in another room for you at the same time.
A standard installation usually takes no longer than one hour. Our professional installers make it as quick and fuss free as possible. You'll hardly notice that they’ve been.
Standard set-up is free for new Sky TV customers buying a Sky+ box online by 25th September 2008 or £30 for new Sky TV customers joining with a Sky+HD box or Sky Broadband and Sky Talk (otherwise £60). Standard set-up for existing Sky TV customers taking any Sky box and combination of Sky services is £60 and we'll credit your account with £15 join Sky TV online or upgrade your existing Sky box online by 30/09/08.
If you're in the timed installation area, you can request a morning or afternoon installation time, either between 9am and 1pm, or between 12pm and 8pm. If you're not in the timed installation area, our 'all-day call' policy applies. Our engineer will call with an estimated time of arrival on either the evening before the visit or before 9am on the day of the visit. Installation times are from 9am to 8pm.

Non-standard set-up may cost extra.
£15 credit: We will credit £15 to your Sky digital account if you join Sky TV online or upgrade your existing Sky box online by 30/09/08. Credit will be made to your Sky digital account within 60 days of your Sky TV viewing card being enabled.
